Hall of Fame

A hall of fame, is a type of attraction established for any field of endeavor to honor individuals of noteworthy achievement in that field. The meaning of "Fame" has changed over the years, originally meaning "renown" as opposed to today's more common meaning of "celebrity".

Gagan Narang

 
Mr. Gagan Narang has done his graduation (B.C.A) from Bhavan's during the year 1999-2002.

Major Achievements: Four Gold medals at the Delhi 2010 and Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games. He has competed at 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. Gagan Narang won a gold medal in the Afro Asian Games, 2003 in Hyderabad. He won a gold in the ISSF World Cup 2006 and a bronze at the ISSF World Cup in April 2008 in Men's 10m air rifle. Gagan won a gold and also made a new world record of 703.5 in men's air rifle at the 2008 ISSF World Cup Final in Bangkok. He won the Arjuna Award in 2005.

Hearty Congratulations to Mr.Gagan Narang on being awarded the prestigious National Honour "Padmashri" and "Khelratna" by Govt. of India.

   

Anirban Lahiri (Asian Golf Ranking - 4th)

 

Anirban Lahiri has done his graduation B.Com(Reg) from Bhavan's during the year 2005-2008.

Lahiri played on the Professional Golf Tour of India, where he won two events and the Order of Merit in 2009. He also plays on the Asian Tour, where he won once in 2011.

Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu

 

Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu (born September 23, 1985), is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was banned from Indian cricket due to his signing with the rebel ICL.

HCA (2001-2005): Rayudu is a middle order batsman. He made his debut in Ranji Trophy domestic cricket in the 2001/02 cricket season for Hyderabad. In the 2002/03 season, Rayudu made a double century and a century in a match against Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Ranji Team (2005-2006)

ICL (2007-2009): Rayudu joined ICL, a rebel group to Indian Domestic Cricket, on August 16, 2007 with six other players from Hyderabad Cricket Association.

Indian Premier League (2010 - Present):Rayudu was with the Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 as a middle order batsmen/part-time wicketkeeper.

Madhusmita Pradhan

 
Madhusmita Pradhan was an outstanding student of our college, having done her B.Sc.(MSCs) from 2006-’09. She is a gold medallist from OU for the B.Sc. course for the year 2009. She passed out with an aggregate of 93% including languages in her UG course. In her II year, she scored an aggregate of 450/450 in her optional subjects and 150/150 in mathematics paper III and IV in her III year, a rare feature for any student to achieve indeed!

Through the college placements, she was absorbed in CapGemini and continues to work there till date. She is also pursuing her MCA from IGNOU through distance education. She has also been taking part actively in various cultural activities in college and otherwise.
