Dr. K. Anuradha, M.Sc, Ph.D
Head of the Department


She has 18 years of teaching experience. She teaches Medical Microbiology and  Chemotherapy. She has co-authored 2 text books for B.Sc students. She has 4 paper publications to her credit in National and International journals and has presented 17 papers at various conferences. Her area of research interest is   Microbial Biotechnology.
Dr. S P Srieehar Bhattar, M.Sc, B.Ed, Ph.D

He has 19 years of teaching experience. He teaches Industrial and General Microbiology. He has a   publication in an international journal to his credit. He   is consultant for Mineral water plant.
Dr. P. Naga Padma M.Sc, Ph.D

She has 12 years of teaching experience and has been teaching Applied and General Microbiology. She has coauthored 3 text books for B.Sc students. She has published 4 papers and presented 42 papers at various national and international conferences. She is acknowledged as research guide by JNTU, Hyderabad. Two students completed their M.Phil projects and one research scholar is pursuing Ph.D under her guidance. She is sanctioned with U.G.C major research project entitled "Studies on cold active pectinases from diverse sources” in the year 2012.
Dr. J. Sarada, M.Sc Ph.D.

She teaches Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnology. She has 12 years of teaching experience. She is member, Board of Studies, Dept. of Microbiology, Osmania University. She has one patent, six publications and co-authored one text book. She presented 20 papers in various national and international journals. She is acknowledged as research guide by JNTU, Hyderabad. Two students completed their M.Phil projects and one research scholar under her guidance for Ph.D programme. She is sanctioned with U.G.C major research project entitled " Screening and evaluation of Phyto chemicals for quorum quenching activity against pathogenic bacteria” in the year 2012.
Dr. Vidya S. Jonnalagadda, M.Sc Ph.D.

She has 17 years of teaching experience. She handles classes in Immunology, Virology and Molecular Biotechnology. She has 11 publications, 6 text books, one lab manual and many Class Notes Books covering unit-wise course material for Virology and Immunology. She has conducted value-added course “Foundations of Bioinformatics” for past 3 years for UG students, and is also a resource person for workshops/ seminars/University courses.
Ms. S. Anju, M.Sc.

She has 9 years of teaching experience. She teaches General Microbiology, Microbial physiology and Medical microbiology. She has coauthored a text book of Biochemistry and presented two papers in National conferences.
Ms.Y. Aparna, M.Sc.

She has 12 years of teaching experience. She teaches General Microbiology, Chemotherapy and Applied microbiology. She has coauthored a textbook of Biochemistry. She has three paper publications and presented 8 papers in various National and International conferences.
