The Department of Physics and Electronics was established at the
inception of the college in 1993 with three U.G courses (M.P.C.,
M.P.E., & M.P.Cs.,) and with an intake of 65 students and 3
faculty members. Currently the department has a strength of
about 350 students and 7 experienced faculty members.
Facilities
The Department has well furnished, spacious and equipped
laboratories. The laboratories have been relocated to the new
I.T. block on November 14th , 2005. The
Department has three Physics laboratories (Mechanics Lab, Optics
Lab & Electronics Lab) spanning a total area of 2024 Sqft. and
the area of Electronics lab is 1056 Sqft. The electronics lab is
also equipped with six Pentium computers for the simulation
experiments prescribed by the O.U.
