Bhavan's college for me was and truly remains an amazing college of which I feel extremely proud to be associated with. I pursued my bachelor's degree from 2000-2003 in Genetics under the guidance of an excellent set of lecturers and a feisty yet charismatic Principal, Mrs Subha Kakde! Those years also saw the transition of college under Dr. Y. Ashok as the new commander and to date the college has carved a niche for itself within the twin cities.

Never allowing a degree come in the way of my education, the college provided me a worthy platform to develop myself not only academically but in co-curricular activities and inter-personal skills alike. Since its inception, the college has built a strong foundation on which its present and future embark on a tradition of brilliance in education. As I continue my PhD degree in Molecular Genetics from Durham University, UK, I look back at my years in Bhavan's and smile- a smile of satisfaction, pride, gratitude and lots of fun! To all my teachers and friends- a huge, huge thank you! Bhavans always had and will always 'rock'!
