Bhavans vivekananada college, Sainikpuri, in association with Deloitte, organized IMPACT DAY (Social Awareness Program) on Anti-Smoking on June 11, 2010.
The Program aimed at creating awareness about the negative effects of both active and passive smoking.
A quiz based on various facts and figures related to smoking was conducted.
Students participated actively and displayed a high level of awareness. Each student who gave the correct answer was awarded a cap which bore the words-‘Trash the ash’
A punch line/ drawing competition were also organized, the program ended with a group discussion, on how we can ask people to quit smoking. The event was informative and effectively emphasized the need to discourage smoking in all forms. |
